Lioness Hub, also known as Lady With Purpose, is a community and platform created to celebrate, encourage, equip, and empower women to become all that they were created to be.
We believe every woman carries something valuable. Every woman has a story, a strength, a gift, and a purpose. Our goal is to create a supportive environment where women can connect with one another, learn, grow, discover opportunities, express themselves, and take meaningful steps towards becoming better versions of themselves.
Officially launched in 2020, Lioness Hub has grown from a small community into a wider platform with an online community, website, mobile application, events, conferences, outreach initiatives, business opportunities, conversations, and other activities created with women in mind.
More than anything, Lioness Hub is about women. Their growth. Their wellbeing. Their purpose. Their businesses. Their dreams. Their relationships. Their communities. And the impact they can make when they have the right support around them.
The story began around 2015 with a simple burden to reach out to women, encourage them, and help them recognize the strength and potential within them.
At the time, there was no website, app, organization, or physical community. It started with content. Articles were written around women, purpose, personal development, relationships, faith, and everyday life. Some of these writings were later compiled into an e-book titled Ladies Life.
The vision continued to develop over the years. When HopefulMe was created, the idea found another expression through a forum and community for women. On 17 April 2020, Lady With Purpose became an independent community, creating a dedicated space for women to connect, learn, encourage one another, and participate in activities built around their needs and interests.
Lioness Hub was founded by Johnson Crystal Kalu, technology professional, life coach and community builder who began the journey by creating content around women and purpose.
One of the earliest major milestones came on 11 June 2020, when the first physical Lioness Hub meeting was held in Aba. Eight women attended that gathering, which became an important moment in turning an online vision into a physical community.
The journey has also been unique because Lioness Hub was founded by a man. While the founder provides the vision, technology, structure, and support behind the platform, the community itself is built around women and continues to create room for women to participate, contribute, lead, organize, and shape its activities.
What began with one person creating content has gradually grown into a community involving women with different backgrounds, experiences, professions, talents, and stories.

We exist because we believe women deserve spaces where they can grow, connect, learn, express themselves, and find encouragement.
Lioness Hub brings women together around different areas of life. From personal development and health to business, relationships, faith, creativity, career, fitness, and community, we create opportunities for women to learn from one another and take action.
We also believe that empowerment should go beyond words. That is why our activities include practical programs, physical gatherings, conferences, outreach projects, business opportunities, conversations, and initiatives that allow women to participate and make a difference.
Lioness Hub provides a combination of online and offline experiences designed to serve women at different stages of life.
Our activities include women-focused conferences, webinars, health and wellness sessions, business and entrepreneurship conversations, social and networking events, fitness activities, community hangouts, outreach programs, inspirational sessions, and other initiatives.
Through our online platform, women can also become members, connect with other women, read articles, discover opportunities, promote their businesses and services, participate in the community, and stay informed about upcoming activities.
Today, Lioness Hub exists as both a community and a digital platform. Our website and mobile experience provide women with a place to become members, connect with other women, access content, discover opportunities, and participate in the wider community.
The platform also includes an online marketplace where members and other users can advertise and promote their goods and services for free. We believe women should not only have a place to connect but also opportunities to showcase what they create, sell, offer, and build.
Beyond the digital platform, Lioness Hub continues to organize physical gatherings, conferences, picnics, meetups, outreach projects, and other experiences that allow women to connect beyond the screen.
Some of our major programs and events over the years include An Excellent Woman, Beyond Amazing, Her Crown, Girl Child Outreach, Hope Behind Bars, Ladies Night Out, women’s hangouts, picnics, meet and greets, and other community activities.
The original name of the community was Lady With Purpose. The name represented our desire to see women live with direction, confidence, and a clear understanding of their purpose.
As the community expanded, we wanted a name that could represent the wider community, its activities, and its growing identity.
The lioness represents strength, courage, protection, leadership, resilience, and the ability to nurture. These qualities reflect many of the values we want to celebrate in women.
Today, Lady With Purpose and Lioness Hub refer to the same community. Lioness Hub is the name we use publicly, while the original idea of helping women live with purpose remains at the heart of what we do.
We envision a world where every woman is celebrated for her unique strength, God-given purpose, and potential.
We want to see women who know who they are, understand what they carry, support one another, pursue their dreams, build meaningful lives, and use their gifts to make a difference in their families, communities, workplaces, and society.
Lioness Hub is still growing, and the journey is far from over. We are building a community where more women can find a place, find people, find opportunities, and find the encouragement to keep moving forward.
